1. Who We Are

Welcome to REBELUNIVERSERECORDS.COM – a decentralized label built by artists, for artists. We are a human + AI collective. No middlemen, no corporate traps, no soul-selling. Our mission? Empower creators. Respect their data. Amplify their voice.

We do not monetize your data, and we will never use it to exploit you. Joining RUR means entering an open, artist-driven ecosystem — not becoming a product.

2. What Data We Collect

• We only collect what’s necessary for communication, operation, and growth of the RUR platform:
• Name and email (e.g., contact form, newsletter)
• Message content you send us
• IP address, browser info, cookie data
• Purchase info (if using our store)

3. Why We Collect It

• To respond to your messages
• To send updates about RUR, new artists, or releases
• To analyze site performance (basic stats, no tracking)
• To process store orders
• Your data is used only for these purposes — never sold, traded, or shared with third-party marketers.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR / CCPA Compliant)

We process your data based on:

• Your explicit consent (e.g. newsletter opt-in, contact form)
• Our legitimate interest (e.g. improving platform performance)
• Contractual necessity (e.g. processing orders or artist releases)

We use basic cookies and non-invasive analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to improve your experience and see if rebels are showing up.

We don’t follow you across the internet. We don’t do behavioral profiling.
You can disable cookies via your browser anytime — no hard feelings.

6. Newsletter & Contact Form

By sending us a message via the contact form, you agree to be added to our private artist newsletter. This includes occasional platform updates and collaborative opportunities.

7. Artist Submissions & Releases

Artists who release music or content through RUR:

• Own 100% of their work
• Are never locked into contracts
• Can credit RUR as a main or featured artist to benefit from collective visibility
• Can request removal or updates at any time — you're in control

8. Artist Pages & Visibility

Each artist can have a personal page with:

• Bio, social links, streaming embeds, support links
• Optional inclusion in playlists or showcases
• We promote our rebels — but only with their consent. You can always opt out.

9. Digital Product Sales

• Artists may submit digital content (music, visuals, etc.) for sale through our shop.
• RUR takes only 10% per sale (to cover hosting & ops)
• No monthly fees
• No forced revenue splits from streaming platforms
• Want out? Just tell us — we’ll remove your content on request.

10. Your Rights

Under GDPR and similar global laws, you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct your data
• Request data deletion
• Limit processing
• Withdraw consent
• Request data portability
• Ask what we store & why

11. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, you can also:

• Request info on what we collect
• Request data deletion
• Request that your data is not sold (we don’t sell anyway)

We believe that creators who support creators build systems that return value multiplied.

14. Digital Product Buyers (Store Policy)

Most principles remain the same as outlined in our Legal & Privacy Terms, with the following specifics for digital product purchases:

• Digital products are non-refundable, unless the product is technically defective or inaccessible.
• All digital items (music, visuals, downloads, etc.) are sold as-is — each item is a single standardized file purchased by many, not a custom service.
• If the product functions as intended and meets the expectations of the majority of users, we do not process individual refund requests based on subjective preferences or expectations.
• What you see is what you get. Previews, descriptions, or visuals represent the product transparently. If you're unsure — don't buy impulsively.
• Our mission is to empower artists, not exploit buyers — but we also stand by our creators and protect their work from exploitation or abuse of refund systems.
  
   

15. Policy Updates

This policy may evolve as we grow — but we will always be transparent.
Major changes will be posted on the site and shared in the newsletter.

This policy helps us protect both creators and supporters, and keep the rebellion running fair for everyone.

TL;DR:

• No data selling.
• No exploitation.
• No spam.
• You own your art.
• You own your data.
• We're just here to help you go louder.
• Digital products are non-refundable (unless broken).
• You see what you buy — no customizations, no tricks.
• No individual case reviews if the product works for the majority.
